The neighborhood of Salmon Creek is a suburban community in Clark County at the convergence of I-5 and I-205; just north of Vancouver. The community covers approximately 6.3 square miles & has a population of around 20,000 people. There is a wide variety of single-family homes & condos, which have lent itself to among other things, helping Salmon Creek as a well-known as an established, high-demand area.
Salmon Creek is also home to the Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital. This full service, state of the art hospital, opened in 2005 and was designated one of America’s Top 10 Green Hospitals by The Green Guide environmental magazine for the environmentally-friendly features incorporated into its construction.
There are a variety of recreational opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast right here in Salmon Creek. Salmon Creek Park and Klineline Pond feature 35 acres of developed parkland and 368 acres of un-developed greenspace. Salmon Creek Park also offers swimming, picnicking, and covered areas for special events and is the eastern trailhead for the Salmon Creek Trail, a three mile trail open to hikers, rollerbladers, equestrians, and cyclists.
